2017 Quilts of Valor Block-of-the-Month

This year, our guild will be donating our Block-of-the-Month quilts to the VA Home in Payson. We hope to complete at least 12 lap quilts by December. It's an ambitious project, but we have confidence in our guild!

Schedule
January - May: Hand out blocks 1-10 kits, to be returned the following month
June: Hand out quilt top finishing kits, to be returned by August
August: Hand out quilt tops, to be returned quilted and bound by October
October: Parade of quilts!
November: All donations taken to the VA Home in Payson

Quilting Along
If you would like to participate, but the kits are gone by the time they come to you, or you can't make it to guild meeting, or you just know a veteran that would appreciate a Quilt of Valor, you can still Quilt Along with us! We will post the block instructions on this page each month, with finishing instructions available in June.

If you are on Instagram, please tag your photos #QoVBoM2017 -- that way, we'll be able to follow along and see all the fun variations!

Please just click on the picture to get the instructions via pdf:
